Nippon Medical School Hospital in Tokyo, is a tertiary referral facility and post graduate residency training center for neurosurgeons in Japan and is well known for skull base surgery, cerebrovascular surgery, endoscopic minimal invasive neurosurgery, peripheral nerve surgery and the whole spectrum of neurosurgical techniques. Nippon Medical School Hospital in Tokyo is the oldest private medical school in Japan, founded over 140 years ago. We have produced more than 10,000 clinicians, medical researchers, and medical administrators.
The department of Neurological Surgery, Nippon Medical School Hospital announces 2 international fellowships for a period of a minimum of 3 months to a maximum of 1 year. The training mainly consists of surgical observation, off the job training in microscopic vascular anastomosis, and writing clinical research papers. Fellows will be paid 100,000 Japanese yen per month if applied during July~Sept in previous year and there is availability(only 10 applicants), and if there is a vacancy in the accommodation, they can stay at the dorm by paying 30,000 yen per month.
