WFNS-Photodynamic Medical Neurosurgery Fellowship at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi
The Department of Neurosurgery at the Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi is a newly established quaternary institution which runs an increasing busy service including subspecialties such as a strong Neuro-Interventional Program embedded into a comprehensive interdisciplinary stroke center, an interdisciplinary skullbase program, peripheral nerve and a complex spine center. There is a dedicated Neurosurgical Intensive Care Unit with 24 beds, as well as close cooperation’s with the Departments of Neuroradiology and Neurology. The fellowship consists of an extensive exposure to the mentioned spectrum of neurosurgical techniques including complex spine, epilepsy surgery, neuro-oncology, neuro-vascular center, interdisciplinary skull base surgery, as well as the numerous educational and research activities within the Neuroscience program of the Department of Neurosurgery in collaborations with the Neuroscience Institute.
The ideal candidate is a young neurosurgeon from a residency training program or an equivalent program from developing countries who during her or his residency demonstrated good skills in microsurgery. Furthermore, the fellows should have work experience of no longer than three (3) years after concluding the residency training.

At the end of satisfactorily completing the rotation, Certificates are issued by CCAD training center and the WFNS.
