FLANC, Medal of Honor

The FLANC Medal of Honor is the highest tribute given to a neurosurgeon for outstanding contributions to the development of neurosurgery in Latin America.

For many years distinguished Latin American neurosurgeons have received the award. In 2016 at the Latin American Federation meeting (CLAN) in Cancun, Mexico three Latin American neurosurgeons received the medal.
