WFNS NEUROANATOMY COMMITTEE

When managing intracranial saccular aneurysms, surgeons aim to prevent premature intraoperative rupture, expose the parent artery for proximal control, and effectively clip the aneurysm. To achieve this, surgeons must skillfully interpret angiograms and develop an optimal surgical strategy based on the intraoperative location of the aneurysm and the direction of the fundus.
