What Matters: AANS 2024 Chicago Meeting

AANS 2024 has come and gone, yet for some of us the theme and experiences of this meeting continue to echo in our minds. The titanic meeting venue, one of the greatest in the world with all its grandeur, could not equal the theme of the meeting, which is simply “What Matters”. The theme was surely meant to intrigue, and at times bewilder but surely to inspire the participant particularly before arriving for the meeting (as in my case).

Welcome to CLAN Chile 2024

Every two years, the Latin American Federation of Neurosurgery Societies (FLANC) organizes the Latin American Congress of Neurosurgery (CLAN), the largest meeting of the specialty in Latin America and Latin-speaking European countries. In 2020, the event was held in the city of Guayaquil, Ecuador, which, due to the pandemic, was postponed to March 2021. CLAN 2022 was held in the city of Miami, United States. And by 2024, Chile will open its doors and host this important event, with the official organization of the XLI Latin American Congress of Neurosurgery CLAN 2024. The Society of Neurosurgery of Chile is proud to take on this project and is pleased to cordially invite you to Santiago de Chile in the month of October 2024.
