ANNOUNCEMENT

Professor Nelson M. Oyesiku, President -Elect, WFNS (2019-2021) has begun his term as President of the WFNS effective Sept 16th, 2021. He will serve a 2 yr -term (2021-2023) culminating in the World Congress in Capetown, South Africa.
Professor Oyesiku was elected President Elect at the WFNS Congress in Beijing, China in 2019. Professor Oyesiku has had a long relationship with the WFNS serving as Continental Delegate; Chairman, Constitution and Bylaws; Scientific Program Chair; Executive Committee and Administrative Council. Professor Oyesiku brings strong leadership experience and executive talents in strategy, operations, administration and financial management. He is an active neurosurgeon, educator, scholar, scientist, and a global citizen. In his inaugural address he states, …….“ I look forward to working with everyone as we move the WFNS forward to advance the mission of global neurosurgery”.
