Dear WFNS Voting officers and voting delegates,
2nd Round of WFNS elections for “President-Elect” were completed successfully with an another record participation rate. 252 of the 268* (94%) delegates cast their votes in the electronic system during 15 September 2021 (UTC).
Prof. Najia El-Abbadi received 127 of the votes (50.4%) and was elected the "President-Elect" of WFNS for the 2021-2023 term in the election which took place in a democratic and fair environment. We congratulate her.
The elections have been successfully completed all made electronically due to the pandemic conditions. First of all, we would like to thank all the candidates who participated in the elections, and the delegates, who revealed the result of a democratic election with their participation.
We would also like to thank the WFNS Central Office Employees and the authorized IT company for making this election a smooth and successful one.
The Nominating Committees, the C&B Committee, and the Election Committee have worked hard to make this election necessary for the advancement and development of WFNS. We hope that all the results will illuminate the future of our Federation. Respectfully.
