The first is motivated by the upcoming Istanbul WFNS Congress. Prof. Dr. Y. Şükrü Çağlar, President of the Turkish Neurosurgical Society, has kindly composed a history of neurosurgery in Turkey and of the Turkish Neurosurgical Society.
