About the Training Center:

Chiba Tokshukai Hospital is located in a suburban area of Funabashi city, Chiba, within the Tokyo metropolitan area in Japan. Our hospital has 391 beds including 60 neurosurgical and 6 ICU beds. Radiology unit is equipped with the state-of-the-art technologies such as the 320 slice CT, 3-tesla MRI, PET-CT, SPECT-CT, angiography, and a radiosurgery system TrueBeam STx. Deputy director Dr. Isao Kitahara, an internationally famous neurosurgeon, plays a leading role in this training program in our hospital. Much of his considerable experience and expertise is in neurosurgeries for brain tumor, acoustic neuroma, trigeminal neuralgia, cerebral aneurysm, and internal carotid artery stenosis.
 

Program Details:

Our program offers opportunities to observe surgeries, tour our facilities, and attend clinical meetings.

Duration of fellowship is up to 6 months.

Three meals and accommodation are provided.

Monthly stipend is paid to fellows to cover expenses of living.

Travel expenses are not covered.
 

Required Documentation:

A copy of the diploma in Medicine or a certificate issued by the Faculty of Medicine.
