Invitation to Participate: NIHR Global Health Research Group on Neurotrauma Global Cranioplasty Study

On behalf of the NIHR Global Health Research Group on Neurotrauma, we are inviting you to participate in an international Survey to Evaluate the Global State of Cranioplasty Practice, on behalf of your centre.

Following decompressive craniectomy for traumatic brain injury, many of our patients worldwide require further surgery in the form of cranioplasty as part of their recovery. However, recent evidence has shown there is great variation in practice around cranioplasty between countries and neurosurgery centres, and many patients cannot access this service.
Therefore, this survey aims to characterise current cranioplasty practice throughout the world and to identify the current challenges and barriers faced by healthcare providers and institutions. We hope this will provide essential data to drive future improvements.
The survey comprises 50 short questions and will take approximately 15-30 minutes to complete. If you feel that another colleague at your institution would have the knowledge-base or be better placed to complete this survey for your institution accurately, please kindly let us know, and we will contact them instead.
