The WFNS Education and Training Committee organizes a didactic and inter-active course in collaboration with Dr. José Damián Carrillo Ruíz, President of the Mexican National Meeting of Neurosurgery, and Dr. Juan Luis Gomes Amador, Scientific Program Director during the XXV Mexican National Meeting of Neurosurgery in Nuevo Vallarta, Nayarit, Mexico on July 7 & 8, 2019.
The educational activity is structured in two components. The first will take place prior to the official inauguration of the meeting, on Sunday July 7, 2019 and will consist of didactic lectures. The second part on Monday July 8, 2019 will consists of interactive case presentations in each of the neurosurgical sub-specialties by local Young Neurosurgeons and discussion by our International and Mexican faculty.
Isabelle M Germano, MD, MBA, WFNS Education and Training Committee chair, with the participation of WFNS Education Committee members Barbara Nettle (Mexico), Jean Goncalves de Oliveira (Brazil), and Moji Hodaie (Canada) organized the course. Many senior Mexican neurosurgeons are also part of the distinguished faculty.
