Dear Colleagues, Modern cranial reconstruction has evolved into a highly multidisciplinary field that can no longer be considered solely within the boundaries of neurosurgery. Successful outcomes require the integration of soft tissue management, vascularized flap planning, biomaterial selection, wound-healing biology, and effective infection-prevention strategies. With this perspective, the WFNS Neurorehabilitation & Reconstructive Neurosurgery Committee, in collaboration with the Asian Australasian Society for Neurological Surgeons (AASNS) and the Turkish Neurosurgical Academy (TNA), has planned a comprehensive educational program consisting of two webinars and one hands-on workshop in Türkiye. The program has been designed to go beyond the scope of conventional neurosurgical training curricula, providing an advanced academic framework encompassing cranial reconstruction, neurorehabilitation, reconstructive surgical principles, biomaterial applications, and multidisciplinary treatment approaches. It aims to bring together experts from various specialties to share their knowledge, experience, and innovations in this rapidly evolving field.
