Dear Colleagues and Friends of all our Members Societies,

I am delighted to welcome you to our newly created and more modernized website, which I hope you will like. 

Firstly, I would like to express my most sincere thanks and recognition to Dr. Eduardo Karol who created our web page many years ago, who devoted much of his valuable time and energy in developing it and did a wonderful job in doing so. .  He will remain as the person responsible for the self-assessment section, which is a very important educational part of our web. 

Secondly, I would like you to know that it is Mr. Karim Hassan, a specialist in creating and maintaining websites who will take care of our website in order that it remains modern and competitive, together with Dr Gail Rosseau, Chair of the Young Neurosurgeons Committee, who will act as Manager of the WFNS website.   Dr Rosseau will coordinate all the sections and open new ones, which I hope, will be frequently visited by all of you.   She will safeguard much of the marvelous work done by Dr Karol but at the same time, I am sure that with her knowledge and experience, she will make a success out of what she is doing.
 
Lastly, may I  welcome the Manager of our new WFNS website and wish her the very best for a successful accomplishment which we can all benefit from.
